The Roxy is proud to host an exclusive music showcase from Extreme Music; the home of production music powered by A-List talent.
An evening curated by some of the finest minds in the business, featuring Alyssa Bonagura and Ben Narcis, and rounded off by our very own Roxy resident, Andy Charles. This one can be filed under Do Not Miss.
Entry is completely free, although you can purchase incredible drinks packages in advance should you wish to actually make a saving as well! Head to the website for more details.
Alyssa Bonagura:
A songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, she's spent the past decade fine-tuning a sound that reaches far beyond her Nashville roots. It's a sound that blurs the boundaries between genres, mixing the southern storytelling of country music, the free-thinking spirit of rock & roll, and the cinematic sweep of Brit-pop into its own hybrid.
Alyssa has supported countless impressive names within the industry and can now count among her peers the likes of Ringo Starr, Marty Stuart, Pete Wylie, Raul Malo (The Mavericks), Rod Stewart and Stephen Tyler.
This is set to be a breathtaking show, featuring a set rooted in struggle, survival, and the soaring feeling of flight.
“Bonagura’s voice carries melodies into registers only songbirds like her and Joni Mitchell can reach” - CMT“A fixture on Nashville’s indie singer-songwriter scene” - The Rolling Stone
Ben Narcis:
Born in Romania but adopted into a British family as a baby, Narcis’ songs often reflect a sense of being out of step with the world around him, singing with a glinting grin and razor-sharp vividness, channeling his experiences of living in one of the world’s most revered and reviled places through doomed characters and disastrous situations.
Drawing on influences ranging from Lou Reed and David Bowie to Tom Waits and Beck, Ben Narcis plays with both anger and heart allowing his sound to perfectly encapsulate the futility of life and the joy of the journey.
Andy Charles:
A pop, blues, rock, funk, r&b, jazz, psychedelic and folk master. A contradictory chameleon of music who shapes to any genre without ever fading into the background. Andy Charles is one of The Roxy's favourite up and coming London-based artists - and within just a few moments you'll understand why.
